Performed a market research study and analysis for a new 3M product. The study focused on positioning a new high performance polymer additive by identifying and evaluating Tier IV & Tier V automotive and aerospace companies. It included interviews with key industry influences and potential clients. The completed report was used as a tool for 3M’s sales and marketing department and subsequent product launch.

U.S. Fire Departments and Offices of Emergency Services conducted a National Market Interview study as the second-phase to the earlier
completed California Market Assessment. The methodology used for the Class A firefighting foam study was to randomly sample various fire departments throughout the US on their use of Class A firefighting foam. The sampling was based on size and region of the fire departments in order for 3M to get an accurate estimate of the future market
potential for Class A.

Developed an international market entry strategy for Brown, Vence & Associates, a San Francisco-based solid waste and energy firm. The strategy focused on the IFIs (World
Bank, IDB, USTDA, ADB) and concentrated on positioning their unique capabilities into international development projects. Over the course of three years, together, we were successful in securing projects in Mexico, Guyana, Thailand, Mauritius, and Algeria.
